Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) a prestige government agency that is working to deliver safe, clean, efficient nuclear energy to the United Arab Emirates officiate a bid for their employee’s transportation. Several participants such as Avis, Fast Rent a Car, Emirates Transport, Al Dhafra Cooperative Society and Al Mariah United Group submitted their proposals. Competitor brands like Volvo, Mercedez and others were also showcased during the bid. It was very tough and intense feeling to withstand competing brands considering they also have the edge, desirable features and popularity. This has been the main challenge we encounter during the selection. According to ENEC representative, they are already happy with Marcopolo Buses on different reputable chassis. They have been using the fleet on contract basis. Initially, they preferred to establish the allocation of order with the same model they currently using. Since the deal was not yet finalized, we need to exert more efforts pushing our limits and taking our chances to achieve our purpose. With the pursuance of our Sales Team at Bin Brook Motors & Equipment, we made regular contacts with all suppliers to get maximum possible information about the deal. We researched competitors’ trend. We offer, counter-offer and follow up on them. We guaranteed best delivery time. We requested meeting with customers and sometimes visits along with our After Sales Team. To sum up, we made most of the time exerting all our team efforts to win it through. With the help and support of our partners Scania and Marcopolo and good contact with our most reliable source Al Mariah United Group, finally we succeed and acquired the project. Our clients accompanied by our Deputy General Manager, Mr. Walid Eldessouki visited the factory of Marcopolo in Brazil during the process of bus body installation, to carefully inspect the procedure. Finally the finish product was successfully delivered to the client last February 2016 with the total of 14 units and we are glad to witness another satisfied customer. With our teamwork and perseverance we believe we can achieve great results.
